Karen Osborne, ASID, CID

Karen Osborne is the president of Karen Renee Interior Design, Inc. located in Severna Park, Maryland since 1992. Karen, a graduate of Bauder College majoring in Interior Design, is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and has served on the Maryland Chapter of the ASID Board of Directors in many different capacities. She is Maryland State Certified and has also achieved certification through the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ).

In addition to her numerous residential and commercial projects, Karen’s expertise is in model home merchandising with over twenty years of experience in this highly specialized area of design. Her gift of talent and intuitive nature allow Karen to partner with the home builder to showcase their communities and sell homes.

Stephanie Simmons, Allied ASID

Stephanie Simmons is an allied member of ASID with a BS in Textile Marketing from University of Maryland and an Associate’s degree in Interior Design from CCBC. An award-winning designer, Stephanie has over 20 years of experience designing model homes and private residences and has designed homes for some of the nation’s preeminent homebuilders, including Winchester, NV Homes, Mitchell & Best, K. Hovnanian, and Stanley Martin. 

Since starting at Karen Renee Interior Design in 2010, Stephanie has focused her talents on residential design and worked on both large and small projects, including many waterfront homes. She brings with her an extensive set of skills and prides herself on creating dynamic, smartly designed living spaces that beautifully reflect their owners’ personalities.

Cindi Armacost, Allied ASID

Cynthia "Cindi" Armacost is an Allied Member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and studied interior design at both The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, CA and CCBC in Baltimore County where she earned her degree.  Cindi started her Interior Design career in 1987 in Baltimore, MD.  She has worked for several Interior Design companies in Maryland, Deleware and California and also owned her own business from 1992 to 2015. 

 Cindi’s experience level offers a full range of Interior Design services to both Residential and Commercial clients. Cindi welcomes working with any size Residential or Commercial project as well as waterfront homes and will assist you in creating tastefully-designed interiors reflecting your own personal lifestyle and budget.

Linda Hartman, Allied ASID

Linda Hartman has been designing for Karen Renee Interior Design for over 19 years and has over 30 years of experience in residential and commercial design. She is also an Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).

Linda specializes in Sorority House design.  Her goal is to provide the girls with a creative space that reflects the branding, personality and lifestyle of the sorority. Making the design process a pleasurable experience comes first and foremost for Linda.  Her experience, creativity and attention to detail, along with her ability to listen to her clients are attributes that her clients value. She enjoys the process of getting to know her clients and campus locations which helps her to create a space that truly upholds the look and values of their sorority.

Polly Offutt

Polly Offutt holds a BA in Art History from Washington & Lee University as well as a MFA in Interior Design from George Washington University. Polly has worked in the interior design industry for ten years. The majority of her career has been at the firm of one of the founders of the American Society of Interior Designers under the direction of a designer who is considered to be an icon of the Baltimore design community.  Working with someone of this caliber has really shaped Pollys ideals about design. Her design experience includes corporate, hospitality, condominium, restaurant, retail, residential and model home community projects.

She is an integral part of our model home team and enjoys working on our builder projects on Model Home and Clubhouse design.  Because of her diverse background in supporting clients in many different areas of interior design, Polly has learned how important it is to listen to clients needs and deliver results that are above and beyond anything they could have imagined.
