Linda Hartman has been designing for Karen Renee Interior Design for over 19 years and has over 30 years of experience in residential and commercial design. She is also an Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
Linda specializes in Sorority House design. Her goal is to provide the girls with a creative space that reflects the branding, personality and lifestyle of the sorority. Making the design process a pleasurable experience comes first and foremost for Linda. Her experience, creativity and attention to detail, along with her ability to listen to her clients are attributes that her clients value. She enjoys the process of getting to know her clients and campus locations which helps her to create a space that truly upholds the look and values of their sorority.
Having a strong background in architectural space planning, renovation and new construction has greatly enhanced her clients' experience in trusting her and feeling at ease with projects that require this area of expertise. She also brings personal experience and a unique perspective as she has been a sorority sister herself. Managing construction projects and implementing an interior design plan within a tight time frame proved to be an invaluable experience as she sometimes must guide her clients through a similar process. Her ability to envision her clients' completed design is crucial to this process as the backdrop for her clients' vision of their dream "house" is created.
Linda resides in Severna Park with her husband and springer spaniel. Her children both grew up in Severna Park and graduated from Virginia Tech. Spending time with them more often now has been possible now that they both live in the Washington DC area. Linda has spent hours of time volunteering in the community over the years from managing costumes for the SPHS annual "Rock N' Roll Revival" to hosting team dinners and various community organizations around Severna Park. She enjoys spending time on the Severn River and Chesapeake Bay and now has more time to pursue her passion which is helping sororities create a spectacular house!
